ConfigMgr Web Reports, I can access the report remotely but not on the reporting point

    Richard,

Just in case you are aware the issue and solution – I have a reporting point setup (SCCM SP1) and add myself to the local reporting user group, I can access the report remotely but not on the reporting point, I checked the dcom permission, they seem OK?

    Thanks,

    Ying

You might have to just check you IE settings and ensure you have the option below set to "Automatic logon with current user name and password". This should allow you to view reports on the server locally.

    Richard,

I changed the IE setting from User Authentication ==> Logon ==> Automatic logon only in Intranet zone     - to - Automatic logon with current user name and password, but it doesn't seem to make any difference.

We keep getting, "This report has a chart, but the Microsoft Office Web Components required to view charts are not installed on the Reporting Point. Please contact your administrator."

Microsoft Office Web Components is already installed - then we downloaded and installed the latest Office 2003 version of the Microsoft Office Web Components - which indicated that it was newer than what was currently installed.

Googling this error - I found some people indicating that something else may be necessary if it's running on a 64-bit OS???

One of the "cures" broke the Users' reporting services altogether, so I'm looking for a reliable fix for this issue.

      Thanks,

     - Steve -

    Steve,

On the reporting point where you can't view the report, can you check to see if the site is added to the Trusted Zone in IE Internet Option settings.
